Animal welfare is our top priority as a company. As Muslims, we believe that for truly halal and tayyib meat, the quality of life and the way the animals are raised before slaughter are just as important as the slaughter method itself. We only work with farmers and suppliers who raise animals with dignity and respect.

Although we deliver very quickly, we don't keep any "extra" inventory, and nothing we sell is ever frozen. We prepare your orders and pick up fresh meat daily. This way, you can be sure you're getting the best possible product with a long shelf life!

Unfortunately, much of the halal meat sold on the market is not fresh at the time of purchase. Additionally, the animals are medicated and raised on a diet designed to bulk them up as quickly as possible, resulting in bland-tasting meat that hasn't had time to mature. Our farmers and suppliers don't use these practices, and we encourage you to try the taste test to see for yourself!

Maintaining proper hygiene and safety controls in accordance with British Retail Consortium (BRC) and Food Standards Agency (FSA) guidelines is central to our business. Our staff are trained to a high standard in food handling and safety procedures that exceed government minimum requirements. This is why we have a 5-star hygiene rating.
